Have no doubt this camera will work with the Apple Mini Mac. Just plug it into the USB port and enjoy. Works very well with Skype. I have not tested with other web chat programs but see no reason why it would not function. My friends say the video is very clear and very high resolution on their receiving end. Sound is great, mic adjust to volume level you can talk from across the room. Only slight issue is the ghosting which I assume is due to a slow frame rate. I have had this experience with other Logitech cameras for the last couple of years even on my Windows Xp and Vista computers.Get more detail about Logitech Webcam Pro 9000.
