I bought this webcam after trying to use an old webcam I had and running into incompatible drivers that wouldn't work with Windows XP Pro. I read a lot of reviews and this webcam seemed the best of the lot. It was easy to set up and worked right away. The focus is sharp and the automatic exposure control works well. The automatic white balance is good. The control panel is easy to understand and use. The "follow me" feature does work, although I find I don't use it much. The avatars and other novelties are fun to use once or twice, but slow the system and I probably won't use them on a regular basis. Overall, this is an excellent camera.
