I initially purchased a Microsoft LifeCam and found the video alright, but not great and the audio was always terrible: a lot of buzzing, humming and white noise sound. The adjustment capabilities on the LifeCam were limited and didn't do much in my view. Has child-like animations you can add to your video. After researching I decided on the LQCP9000. It is night & day!!! The video is excellent and can be adjusted manually or automatically to suit your needs. Audio is much better though still breaks up more often than not. I can improve it by lowering my volume or adjusting my speakers. Variety of filters, avatars, masks and face add-ons make it fun too. It also has a camera screen to block your video from being viewed if you so desire (LifeCam did not). I am extremely happy with this purchase & with Amazon. This was my 1st Amazon purchase and won't be my last!! Get more detail about Logitech Webcam Pro 9000.
