The Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 is known as the latest version of the previous model known as the Fusion (which received positive ratings). With a lot of webcams available that offer night vision report, I actually scoured various review sites because I wanted a camera that would be beneficial for me to lifecast on justin.tv and ustream.tv. I needed a webcam that a) would be durable b) would be perfect for low light conditions c) to generate great quality. After using this webcam for narly a month now, I am very pleased. The quality is awesome. The Logitech software is very cool and you can download even more special effects online. I use my PC laptop but will need to test it on my Mac on OS 10.5 (Leopard) ala Maccam. Superwebcam works well. Will test it with Camtwist soon. But all in all, this is one of the best webcams to get for its price range. I know many of you will want to spend on the Fusion which came out years before and it's a great cam, but spend a little more for the QuickCam Pro 9000.
