I've never had a webcam before, so mostly I was amazed. Easy to set up, install, and use especially for someone who doesn't understand how any of this tech stuff works.
The problem set in when I tried to make a movie for my computer geek SO who has an earlier version of this camera and software. I couldn't ever send him the file because it was too big. He kept telling me (w/ever increasing frustration) to just click on "send as email" and the file would automatically compress. Well no, no it doesn't. Not in this version. :-( Trying to locate how to do it on line or through Logitech's website proved too frustrating to me.
The smaller simpler annoyance is that the cable weighs more than the camera and frequently topples the camera or repositions it. That I can cope with, but the non-compression makes this camera only 1/2 as valuable.Get more detail about Logitech Webcam Pro 9000.
