Previously I had a cheap $20 web camera. It cannot be compared to quality video and photos of this one. It is easy to set up and install the software. You can use it on the top of your flat panel monitor or positioned on your desk next to the monitor. Also software comes with interesting avatars, face animations, etc. It is very good value for the money. You will not work well on an older computer though as it consumes a lot of CPU and video card resourses of my computer and occasionally "hangs on" for a second or two.My computer is 2 years old (single core CPU).Get more detail about Logitech Webcam Pro 9000.
