This was a replacement for an old 3Com camera. Maybe my other one was too old for comparison. But this one has great picture quality. The software, camera works great with XP pro. I can't really complain about this camera. I only wished that the holder would clip onto the side of my monitor instead of sitting on the top. Get more detail about Logitech Webcam Pro 9000.
